Never underestimate the value of date night. Plan out your date nights. While it is comfortable to just always choose to dine in nightly instead of going out, you should be looking to break the monotony every once in a while.
Plan your date nights and go for a night out on the town. See new movies, go ice skating, have some drinks at the bar. The point is to never allow your relationship to fall into a rut. Remember the important dates and moments. Always make sure that you have a mind for remembering the important dates.
The Little Things Can Mean Everything in a Relationship
Anniversaries and birthdays are always important. Develop a sense of humor with each other. A couple that laughs together is going to stay happy together. Stop taking each other so seriously.
If you find yourself fighting over things that are so small and silly — it might be about the little things. Some people start frivolous or silly fights over insignificant things because they want your attention.
Unfortunately, a compilation of little things can really add up and cause stress to someone so severe that it damages their soul and changes who they are…temporarily at least. So the arguments may not be legitimate, the fights might be silly, you may even laugh about it later, but what you need to take from it is the emotion that is expressed. Anger, resentment, anxiety, and all the other negative emotions that people hide away on the inside only to let out in a rush later.
The arguments might be fake, but the feelings are real. So where do these feelings come from? Gifts need not be expensive like a diamond ring or mobile phone but you can gift those too! A simple home cooked meal or a dinner at their favourite restaurant.
Even a cup of tea works well for moms. Buying books, favourite gadgets or even spending an evening playing video games with your spouse works wonders. I love the thought behind sending a gift.

I appreciate the time taken to actually buy or make a gift. Show in your actions: A hug, a smile, a compliment, few words of encouragement…they do wonders.
I make it a point to hug my daughter everyday at least 10 to 20 times. Each time I hug her, I remind her how special she is and how lucky I am to have her in my life.
