No Game No Life Zero – Movie Review
This meant an average of four episodes or about minutes of screen time per light novel. So, when MAD House adapted the sixth light novel into the No Game No Life Zero movie, the average length of a feature film was the perfect amount of screen time to match the already established formula for pacing.
Animation Because the same studio produced both the movie and the series, I was expecting an equivalent animation quality, and I was far from disappointed. The fights scenes were beautifully choreographed and executed.

And the explosions were as flashy and colorful as you could hope for. Every single scene, from the mundane to the fantastic, were as fluid and natural as can be. Storyline Thematically speaking, the movie was pretty similar to the series.

Character Design It was as cute as always, if a little repetitive. Riku, the male protagonist, looks exactly like Sora. Shuvi looks like Shiro. Sora and Shiro traverse to Elkia [Jp. They are ruled by a nameless Mikoa logical woman who helped the Eastern Federation flourish for the past fifty years. She allies herself with Sora and Shiro who promises benefits for humanity and warbeasts. After the alliance between humans and warbeasts, he works alongside Stephanie to formalize the union.
Though Kurami's family were the Nilvalen family's slaves for generations, her relationship with Fil is similar to daughter and mother. A lot of situations that bother me in other series I was able to overlook in this one because they made sense, but more on that later. This was a lot better than I remember it being. No Game No Life is about siblings Sora and Shiro who are shut ins unable to assimilate into society and instead play games all the time. They like games so much that when they find themselves in the world of Disboard, where conflicts are solved by playing games, they pretty much feel like this is where they belong.
And I have to say, Sora and Shiro? Which is good, because as fun and potentially creepy? Which I really hope gets addressed in later vols, but considering the fun tone of the book may not happen so fingers crossed.
