And do the wishes of my heart go with the words I say? I may as well kneel down and worship gods of stone, as offer to the living God a prayer of words alone. We will never understand His great love for us. He loves you, not based on what you can do for Him, but because of who He is and what He has done for you in the finished work of Christ. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
